Replanting for Growth

I use to kill plants. Now I am on a mission to save the plants! About 9 months ago I was given a Spider Plant by a couple in our church. I put it in my car and forgot about it for 2 weeks until my wife found it. The plant was almost dead (like I said I use to kill plants). I wanted to put it in the trash but my wife decided to try to revive it. Spider Plant

This plant had no water, the soil it was planted in was hard and not the sort of environment a plants requires for growth and the roots were starting to come up out of the soil. As we took it out of the pot we found the roots were tangled like a weave basket. It needed more than water to survive. It needed its roots untangled, replanted in fertile soil and also a bigger pot. We did all this and I am proud to announce it is healthy, as had two children and a has a third offspring on the way!

Something that was almost dead is now alive all because it got replanted and is now in an environment that causes it to flourish. I have a friend who was in a stressful job in which his head was going under with all the demands and stress. He didn’t produce the goods became more and more ineffective as he continued. He left that job and took on another role that was more stressful and demanding, yet now he is flourishing and is incredibly effective. Why? Because he saw the need to be replanted and now he is in an environment that causes him to flourish and enjoy success.

Are you in an environment that causes you to flourish and enjoy success? The Spider Plant had all what it needed to grow and produce offspring, but the wrong environment caused it to die. You have all that is needed to grow and produce, but unless you are in the right environment your growth will be stunted. Do you need to be replanted for growth? Check out Psalm 92:12-15!
